This project ended in 2005 and is no longer active. NEWMOA developed brochures and conducted workshops focused on improving the quality of site investigations performed by consultants.

Outreach Materials:

Site Investigation Matters - state specific brochures developed for responsible parties and their representatives emphasizing the importance of site investigation to a project's bottom line and hiring a good consultant who will do quality work.

NEWMOA distributed a survey at the Improving the Quality of Site Characterization conferences in June 2002 to obtain attendee perspectives on the barriers to the use of flexible work plans and field-based analytics and their recommendations. This publication summarizes the responses.
