Until 2013, NEWMOA supported the States ERP Consortium, which provided states, EPA, and other interested groups with a forum for sharing experiences, expertise, and resources in developing and implementing ERP approaches to effectively address priority environmental issues. The Consortium, which was organized in 2006, included 19 member states.

The goals of the Consortium were to:

• Communicate successes to build stakeholder support
• Share information among practitioners
• Expand support with EPA & other partners & promote ERP as a proven compliance strategy
• Improve & disseminate tools for easier automation & measurement

The States ERP Consortium held a National Meeting on Environmental Compliance Assurance & Performance Measurement Strategies June 19 & 20, 2013 in Arlington, Virginia.
