Hazardous waste inspectors and other staff across the Northeast need ongoing training on new requirements, policies, tools, and procedures that state agencies and EPA develop to stay current in their jobs. They are also interested in sharing information on state and federal regulatory interpretations that may be important for their field activities. NEWMOA supports several training activities for state hazardous waste program staff each year, including annual workshops, conference calls, and webinars. These activities are overseen by a Hazardous Waste Training Workgroup of state program managers and staff.
