Before starting, Ernest gathers the MSDS's and other product specifications for the materials used in the spray booth. Although several materials are used, for now, Ernest is focusing on the paint that contains VOCs. He also collects a complete list of equipment that makes up the entire painting line; but for now, he is only focusing on the spray booth. Here, we show you how to define the material (paint) and the equipment (spray booth) that Ernest is analyzing. There are two reference documents that can help you with the Define step.
